After graduating from the College of Information Science and Engineering at Ritsumeikan University, I gained experience working for two hardware startups as a software engineer. At a hardware startup called ORPHE Inc., a spin-off from DMM.make AKIBA, I worked as a tech lead for approximately 6 years, focusing on developing gait analysis technology for smart shoes. I was responsible for developing the gait analysis engine and peripheral tools from scratch, as well as obtaining patents. The collaborative development with ASICS Corporation, the EVORIDE ORPHE, received the first grand prize at the Japan Sports Agency INNOVATION LEAGUE contest.
I specialize in cross-platform development of embedded devices and mobile devices, which are essential for IoT devices and wearable devices. I also excel in digital fabrication. I have created my own wearable devices and their applications and have participated in events such as DemoDay.Tokyo as a speaker.
