She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Waseda University. After studying in the U.S., she worked as the secretary to Mayor Shimizu on global projects such as the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Japan and Korea, as well as dealing with top leaders in Japan and abroad. In 2015, she established the Institute of Women's Leadership (IWL), a company engaged in advisory, women's leadership development, and executive development for public offices and listed companies. She is well known for her expertise in DEI, a global standard, and her consulting services that enable solutions to issues unique to the Japanese market. She is an advisor to Tokyo Electron DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion). He is also an outside director of Yamano Holdings, Inc. Director of the Board of Directors of the Japan Corporate Directors Training Institute (BDTI). Director of ESGNetwork, a general incorporated association.
