In 2016 Ryota joined the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). At METI, Ryota was engaged in trade control policy work, etc.
In 2018, Ryota joined Incubate Fund Corporation, an independent venture capital firm.
In January 2023, Ryota became independent and established SSS Capital G.K., an independent venture capital firm that supports seed-stage startups.
Ryota graduated from Hokkaido University with M.A. in Engineering.
