Communication Strategist
Junko Okamoto is the author of the breakout bestseller, World's Finest Communication Techniques, a book
that captures and relates in intuitive ways the most decisive communication approaches analyzed and
acquired while serving as a professional executive speech coach and founder of Glocomm (a company
dedicated to providing global communications solutions). With a multidisciplinary background and
experience working as a business news reporter at Japan’s most widely-read newspaper, the Yomiuri
Shimbun, as a communications strategist in New York City, and as a public relations specialist at
Japan's renowned PR agency, Dentsu PR, her two decades of experience have culminated in a revolutionary
method for conceiving and delivering scintillating speeches and public presentations — including
essential tactics that will forever transform your own charisma, poise, and showmanship, with the latest
psychological and scientific underpinnings to back them up.
From titans of the banking and financial sector, automobile industry giants, telecommunications
juggernauts, and electronics-producing gurus, Junko Okamoto has coached the leading figures of various
cross-border organizations, while also providing her services to those in the intense spotlight and
scrutiny of the media, including influential politicians and key officials within the Japanese
government. In total, throughout her career, she has acted as a private tutor and confidant for more
than 1,000 proven and rising stars, bolstering their confidence levels and skill sets to help them reach
their true potential as speakers and presenters.
Junko Okamoto received her undergraduate education at the School of Political Science at Waseda
University and earned a master's degree in International Relations at Cambridge University in England.
She also operated as a media consultant while serving as a visiting scholar at the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology (MIT).
Junko regularly shares tips with her readers on how to improve their communication methods via various
popular Japanese platforms, such as Toyokeizai Online, and President Online. Junko is the author of
another critically acclaimed book detailing the crippling rise of loneliness that has gripped a huge
swath of the Japanese population, Japanese Men: Loneliest in the World.
