Director of Education, CUNY Graduate School of Journalism Tow-Knight Center for Entrepreneurial JournalismJeremy Caplan

Jeremy Caplan is Director of Education for the Tow-Knight Center for Entrepreneurial Journalism at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. He has taught courses on reporting, multimedia storytelling, mobile video, business fundamentals and entrepreneurial journalism. Before joining CUNY he wrote for Time Magazine on business and technology, covering companies like Google, Yahoo and Apple. He also wrote about cultural trends, ranging from Carrotmobs and cereal cafes to mini-lit and life-hacking. A graduate of Princeton's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, Caplan was a Wiegers Fellow at Columbia Business School, where he completed his MBA, and a Knight-Bagehot Fellow at the Journalism School, where he earned an M.S. in Journalism. He lives in NYC with his wife and two daughters.
